  • Aboard a tourist transport we will travel to the Wánchaq station in the historic center of Cusco. There we will board the Peru Rail Bimodal bus that in a trip of almost 2 hours takes us to the Ollantaytambo train station.
  • At this station we have a little free time for last minute shopping or simply enjoying a coffee and snacks. The train included is the Peru Rail Expedition service that takes us to the Aguas Calientes train station in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. During the trip the tour guide will be available for any questions or information about the route.
  • In the town of Machu Picchu (as Aguas Calientes is also known) the guide will drive us for less than 5 minutes to the bus station in the heart of the town. Before boarding the bus there is a queue of 10 minutes on average. Then we board the Consettur bus which, in a 30-minute trip, takes us to the entrance gate of the archaeological site of Machu Picchu.
  • The private tour guide will enter with the tourists to the Inca citadel where circuit 2, the most recommended, will take place. This circuit includes a visit to the main Inca temples, such as: the Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Sacred Rock, the Temple of the Condor, the water sources, the agricultural sector and more. This circuit allows you to get the photo most requested by visitors from the Guardian House sector.
  • After a tourist tour of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, always in the company of a private tour guide, you board the Consettur bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes. If the visitor reserved the buffet lunch, they must remain at the exit door of Machu Picchu and go a few steps to the dining room of the 5-star Sanctuary Lodge tourist hotel. There you will enjoy one of the best buffets in Cusco.
  • After returning to the town of Aguas Calientes, the visitor can choose the restaurant or follow the recommendation of the tour guide. Lunch is not included in the tour. The guide will tell us the time we should be at the train station. The train leaves on time so it is recommended to be punctual.
  • The return trip is by Peru Rail Expedition tourist train. Optionally, you can book a return trip on the Vistadome upper train, which includes a dance show and an alpaca clothing fashion show. In any case, the tour guide will accompany us throughout the trip. In Ollantaytambo we transfer to a bus that, in 2 hours, will take us to the city of Cusco.
