Itinerary
- The tour begins with the pick-up of the tourist from the door of their hotel in Chiclayo at 10 in the morning.
- On board a tourist transport we will travel for approximately 45 minutes (21 kilometers by road) to the town of Ferreñafe.
- In Ferreñafe we will continue for 1 hour until we arrive at the Pítipo district. There we will stop and get ready to, always in the company of our tour guide, take a 30-minute walk until we arrive at the first natural lagoon of Mayascón.
- Along the way we will be able to observe the incredible nature of the dry forest typical of the northern region of Peru. Hopefully we will appreciate the birds that inhabit the place. It is recommended to bring snacks and rehydrating water since the heat is intense.
- Once in the Mayascón reserve we will appreciate an amazing natural landscape. In total there are eight turquoise water wells. From a hill we can get an amazing panoramic photo. Together with the tour guide we will get to know the place better, its ecological importance, the flora and fauna species that inhabit this space and more.
- Tourists who wish can enjoy a dip in the natural water wells. The largest pool can reach eight meters in diameter and three and a half meters deep. In the place there are also waterfalls, which continue to form water wells around.
- After enjoying nature, we will start our way back until we board our tourist transport. On the return trip we will stop to enjoy a typical Chiclayo lunch (food not included in the tour).
