What is it?

The Cusco Tourist Ticket is the best option to visit the main tourist attractions of Cusco.

The ticket offers a visit to up to 16 tourist attractions divided into three partial groups: a) sites in the city of Cusco, b) sites in the South Valley and museums, and c) sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. There is also a comprehensive ticket that includes all 16 sites.

Currently buying this ticket is the only way to visit the main Inca archaeological sites such as: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, Tambomachay, Tipón, Piquillacta, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and Moray.

Where to buy it?

The Cusco Tourist Ticket cannot be purchased online. The only way is in person through the offices of the Cosituc (Committee of Integrated Cultural Tourism Services of Cusco):

  • Avenida El Sol 103 (office of the Municipality of Cusco).
  • Calle Garcilaso s / n. (OFEC branch offices).

The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 8 in the morning to 5:30 in the afternoon. Saturdays from 8.30 in the morning to 12.30 in the afternoon.


Does it include Machu Picchu?

The Cusco Tourist Ticket does not include the entrance to Machu Picchu.

Entrance to Machu Picchu is purchased at the offices of the Disconcerted Directorate of Culture Cusco (Calle Maruri 324, Cusco).

The ticket to Machu Picchu can also be purchased online through the official website: https://www.machupicchu.gob.pe/.

Tourism agencies also offer entrance tickets to Machu Picchu for an additional cost (intermediaries between the tourist and the Disconcerted Directorate of Culture Cusco).

This last option (buying online) is the most recommended option for tourists. Remember that the entrance to Machu Picchu has limited availability.


How long can I visit everything?

Partial Ticket 1 – Allows 1 day to visit all the tourist attractions included (Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay).

Partial Ticket 2 – Allows 2 days to visit all the tourist attractions included (Tipón, Piquillacta, Museum of contemporary art, Regional Historical Museum, Museum of popular art, Coricancha Site Museum, Qosqo Center of Native Art and Monument to the Inca Pachacutec).

Partial Ticket 3 – Allows 2 days to visit all the tourist attractions included (Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and Moray).

Integral Ticket – Allows 10 days to run all the tourist attractions included: (Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, Tambomachay, Tipón, Piquillacta, Museum of contemporary art, Museum Historic Regional, Museum of popular art, Museum of the Coricancha site, Qosqo Center of native art, Monument to the Inca Pachacutec, Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and Moray).


Recommendations

If you plan a trip on your own (without a tour) and of several days through Cusco; the best option is to buy the Comprehensive Cusco Tourist Ticket.

If you travel with children you can access a special discount. The same in the case of college students. In addition, Peruvian citizens have access to discounts.

The ticket can only be used once at each tourist attraction.
