- Aboard a tourist transport we will travel for two hours from Tarapoto towards the town of Sauce, where the blue lagoon is located.
- The trip is 54 kilometers. At the height of the Huallaga River, the vehicle will board a large boat that allows you to cross the river without any risk. Then, continuing along the paved road, we will stop at the Punta del gallinazo viewpoint. There we will have an amazing view of the Huallaga Valley, a beautiful landscape full of trees, the sound of animals and the Huallaga River.
- Once in the town of Sauce we will get off the land transportation to board a boat that will take us through the blue lagoon for approximately 1 hour. This trip allows you to get incredible photos, as well as be able to hear the sound of the Amazonian animals and birds.
- After this trip we will descend at a very touristic point in the lagoon. There we can do activities such as horseback riding, kayaking, canopy or jet ski rides. These activities are optional and are not included in the tour. Visitors, freely, will also be able to bathe in the waters of the famous blue lagoon.
- After a relaxing moment, it’s time to have lunch at a tourist restaurant located on the shore of the blue lagoon. In addition to the beautiful views, we will enjoy delicious dishes from the Peruvian Amazon region.
- At 4 pm we will board the tourist transport again to return (2 hour trip) to the city of Tarapoto. Just as on the outward trip, we will cross the Huallaga River in a wide boat specialized to support the vehicle.
