  • Then, aboard a tourist transport you travel to the countryside of Quicacán, a route to the district of Tomayquichua (journey of 20 kilometers on average). There, in a relaxing environment surrounded by nature and a history dating back to colonial times, you can find the origins of the famous dance ‘Los negritos de Huánuco’.
  • This dance is declared as Cultural Heritage of the Nation because of the devotion of its participants, as well as its interesting history. The dance alludes to the migration of African slaves to Peru, who worked in the sugar cane and sugar plantations. The visitor, accompanied by a professional tour guide, will learn the particulars of this dance, very significant in the city of Huanuco.
  • Then the trip continues to visit the house-museum of the famous mistress of Viceroy Manuel Amat, Micaela Villegas, popularly known as the ‘Perricholi’.
