The mountain is located in the district of Checacupe, in the province of Canchis, south of Cusco. Geographically it is located at the foot of the snowy Ausangate, a few kilometers from Vinicunca (the mountain of the 7 colors).

How to get?
This tourist attraction is located about 100 kilometers away by road from the city of Cusco. It is reached by a first bus trip to the town of Checacupe (2 hours away).
